ನನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕೆ ?

My photo
A guy with habit of learning from everyone and from anything... I would say i'm a guy hiding all my sorrows and sadness behind my "SMILE" :P Come in with me.. You should be able to write more "about me" :)

Why do we need Temples if God is omnipresent ?

Note : This article is exclusively for those who believe in existence of God :)

"God the almighty is present everywhere no doubt about it (sarvam khalvidam brahma). so we don't need temples," but this is true from Highly qualified Sadhaka (uttamadhikari) point of view. Our shastras has divided the devotees of vishnu in 3 categories as uttamadhikari, madhyamadhikari(qualified) and adhamadhikari(low qualified) sadhakas. Prahallada who is a very much capable of worshiping god everywhere in the world is said to be a uttamadhikari. The lord himself incarnated as Narasimha exclusively for Bhakta prahallada. So Prahallada does not need temples to worship god.

But we who are at the last grade of sadhana (adhamadhikaris) cannot worship god everywhere even he is omnipresent. We are finely masked by the screen called maya(ajnana) by durga devi(prakruti) which opposes us to find god everywhere. So we need Shastras which leads us towards god. But In this kaliyuga vedas and shastras are in the extinction stage, one person in a crore hardly study vedas and shastras, so, people who are completely drown in search the materialistic mundane pleasures cannot find god rather departs away from lord,so it becomes very much necessary to build TEMPLES where we consecrate an idol according to the injunctions of Shatras and believe GOD exists here.

It is a place where god is worshiped everyday by devotees bringing them conscious that he's present everywhere in this universe. It is a place where God bestows good will on his devotees who pray him with devotion. It is place where the devotees confess their sins against lord and beg him for mercy. It is a place where all religious activities can be performed in peace. It is a place to achieve peace of mind to the person who has suffered in agony from the influence of samsara. It is a place where we are able to proceed in right path of sadhana. It is place where our contemplations toward god arise from heart. It is a place where all the devotees get together to listen the preachings of lord in shastras like Bhagavata, Bhagavadgeeta etc and eventually to attain the Salvation! :)
